The post-mortem report of 21-year-old Deepakumari Yadav of Saptari's Mahadeva rural municipality-1 Sonara tol, who died suspiciously, has not come even in a month.

Deepa, who got married two months ago, was brought to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj on the afternoon of August 14. However, the doctor confirmed that he had died before being brought to the hospital.  On the same day, the police arrested Deepak Kumar Yadav's husband and father-in-law Parshuram Yadav and started investigation after injuries were found on Deepa's body and a bruise on her neck. The next evening, the body was sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan for post-mortem, but the report has not come yet.  After the

According to her grandfather Bhagwati Prasad Yadav, who has been torturing Deepa since a month before the incident, demanding an additional dowry of Rs 50,000.

"As a total of Rs. 2.5 lakh was spent on the marriage by giving a dowry of Rs. 11 lakh, the additional amount could not be given immediately," he said. Deepa was the only daughter of Sanjeev who was married on 4 June 2082.

SP Gautam Kumar KC said that since the viscera has been sent for testing, it may take some time to get the report. "If the investigation is going on, the accused has already confessed," he said. Deepak, who is in police custody, got angry and confessed that Deepa died after being strangled with his shawl. However, Deepak did not want to disclose the matter of his disapproval.

Deepak brought Deepa, who had died, to the hospital in the afternoon to hide the incident. However, at that time, the incident was resolved when the relatives of Deepa's mother's side reached the hospital.
