The family of Devkumar Subedi, a resident of Lalbandi Municipality-5 of Sarlahi, who lost his life during the Gen-G movement, has received the relief amount available from the government.

Chief District Officer Tulsi Bahadur Shrestha informed that the relief amount allocated by the Government of Nepal to Subedi's wife Parvati Adhikari is 1.5 million rupees on Sunday. According to him, according to the decision of the cabinet meeting, an amount of 1 million was received from the Ministry of Home Affairs by spending 1 million as compensation and 5 million as relief for the families of the deceased.

Subedi died in Kathmandu during the Gen-G movement.
