The Madhesh Provincial Assembly has started from Jalekai building on Tuesday. The third meeting of the sixth session is being held on Tuesday.

There is an agenda for exchanging greetings and reciting letters received from the office of the provincial head.

In the first meeting held after the movement led by Jen-G and the subsequent demonstration, the parliamentarians of the Janmat Party, which is leading the Madhesh province government, sat in two sections. Some MPs are sitting in the ruling party and some MPs are sitting in the opposition.

Janmat Parliamentary Party leader Mahesh Prasad Yadav withdrew his support to the state government and gave a letter recalling his party's chief minister and minister to the state chief's office and the state assembly secretariat. But after Chief Minister Singh refused to resign, the rest of the state assembly members of Janmat sat in the opposition.
