According to Parsa police spokesperson DSP Kishore Lamsal, he died on Monday during treatment at the Burn Hospital in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.
A woman who was injured in a fire at the house of Anil Rungta, a central member of the Nepali Congress, died during the demonstration in Birgunj on August 24.
Shoshila Devi Hazra, 45, a resident of Sakhuwaprasauni rural municipality-2 in Parsa, died among the two people who were injured in the fire.
According to Parsa police spokesperson DSP Kishore Lamsal, he died on Monday at the burn hospital in Kirtipur, Kathmandu during treatment. Hazra used to work in Rungta's house. 50 percent of his body was burnt in the fire. Soon after the
incident, he was admitted to the National Medical College in Birganj for treatment. But after being referred by the hospital, Burn was admitted to the hospital.
18-year-old Vinay Yadav, a resident of Sugauli, Bihar, India, was also seriously injured in the arson incident. 90 percent of his body was burnt. He was also admitted to Kirtipur Burn Hospital for further treatment. His health is improving.
