The warehouse of the food company, which has been idle for a decade, will now be constructed

The reconstruction work of the godown in Birganj branch premises of Food Management and Trading Company Ltd., whose construction work has been stopped for a decade, has started. The warehouse building will be built after the company's central office re-contracted this year to complete the unfinished construction of the warehouse.

According to the branch head Pankaj Kumar Jha, the contract to complete the unfinished work of construction of a warehouse of 488 tens of 125 square meters was awarded by Bhagwati Sri Radhemai Nirman Seva Birganj-13 for 81 lakh 72 thousand 745 rupees 53 paise (including VAT).

The construction work of the warehouse building with a capacity of 1,000 metric tons was stalled after the previous contractor abandoned it in the middle. Even the wall from the floor to the roof has already been built in the warehouse building. Now the work of preparing the building by plastering, roofing and painting etc. is left. According to Jha, according to the agreement made by the company's central office with the Asar 32 contractor company, the contractor company must complete the construction and handover of the building within 1 year from the date of the agreement.

The contractor has already started the construction material. The former godowns in the branch premises are old and dilapidated. About 5 years ago, the US government also built a warehouse in the premises. But the need for more warehouses has been felt in the branch. After the construction of this godown, it will be more convenient for the branch to store grain, says branch chief Jha.
