Lately, a curfew was imposed from 9 pm to 5 am till the bypass road in the east of Birgunj, Sirsia Bridge in the west, Gandak Chowk in the north and Shankarcharya Gate in the south. The
meeting has maintained the previously declared riot zone. The area from Ghantaghar Chowk to Gandak Chowk and Birgunj Jail and its compound area have been declared as riot prone areas.
