210 inmates who escaped from Jaleshwar Jail in Mahottari have returned to Jail, taking advantage of the movement of Gen-G group. During the agitation, 575 prisoners escaped from the prison.
Jaleshwar Jail administration and Jail officers are calling the families and relatives of every absconding prisoner and reminding them that they are working to bring them back to the jail, said Jail Chief Ashok Chhetri. According to
Khetri, 4/5 prisoners are returning to the prison every day.
12 arrested with the help of Indian police from the border area of Mahottari, 5 arrested by Dhanusha police and 210 prisoners who returned voluntarily have been returned to the jail, according to the prison administration.
1 prisoner refused to escape from Jaleshwar Jail, which has a total of 576 prisoners.
Chief Chhetri informed that the prison administration is taking steps to bring back the remaining escaped prisoners.
