Chinnamasta Rural Municipality of Saptari has decided to give 5 lakh 51 thousand rupees equivalent to two days' salary to the National Reconstruction Fund to support the reconstruction of the damage caused during the Gen-G movement.
The decision was taken by the joint meeting of public representatives and employees on Tuesday.
All the people's representatives and employees have taken a spontaneous decision to deposit their two days' salary and allowances into the National Reconstruction Fund in order to help in the reconstruction, said Vidyanand Chaudhary, chairman of the rural municipality, "We are working with a strong commitment to provide effective services without any inconvenience to the common people. We are working with a firm commitment to serve in a more sophisticated manner." In addition to the tributes, wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured in the movement have also been expressed.
