Taking advantage of the demonstration after the movement led by Jen-G, two of the prisoners who broke into the prison in Gaur, the headquarters of Rautahat on August 24, came to appear themselves on Monday. Along with this, there are currently 106 inmates in the prison.

Out of 291 prisoners, 260 escaped from the jail. 31 people remained in prison. Jailer Manish Jha said that 106 of the escapees are still in jail. According to prison chief Jha, Bihari Sah of Moulapur and Hemchandra Prasad of Fatuwa Vijaypur have come to present themselves on Monday among those who escaped from the prison. The district court has ordered preliminary investigation against them on charges of organized crime and criminal nuisance.

After the prisoner escaped from the prison under the pretext of protest, the local administration has started a search. District Police Chief SP Netramani Giri said that the police have increased surveillance at their home address.

There are only 106 prisoners out of 291 prisoners in the prison. 185 people are still absconding. Initially, 260 people absconded. Indian police and Nepal police had already detained 75 people.
