To control the cholera infection that has appeared in the district and to make the treatment of the affected locals more effective, paramedics from Srijang Gana of the Nepalese Army are deployed at Narayani Hospital. Four paramedics from Gan have been assigned to the hospital since Thursday.

According to Colonel Lokendra Karki, head of the Gana, a medical team has been sent immediately in view of the emergency health challenge created due to cholera. He said that the army sent its team after receiving information from the hospital administration that there was a shortage of health workers to work at night.

He expressed his belief that the cooperation of the army would help in the control of cholera in the district. He claimed that the medical team of the army will provide comfortable and quality treatment services to the patients in the hospital.   Karki said that a team of 15 to 20 doctors is ready in case of

. "We have a medical team of 15 to 20 people, including doctors, in readiness," he said. said,  "If there is a demand from the hospital, the team can be mobilized at any time." Health workers have urged the locals to pay attention to safe drinking water, sanitation and take necessary precautions.

He said that the Nepali Army has been assisting the local community by providing treatment, rescue and relief during natural calamities or emergency situations.
