In Saptari's Chhinmasta Rural Municipality-3, Gobindpur, electricity service was disrupted in half a dozen villages after a pole fell on Friday due to a wire stuck in a moving tipper. A pole fell due to the NT wire getting stuck in the tipper No. M.P.03-001 B 7608 assigned to repair the Sakhada-Neur road section.

Eyewitnesses said that the pole fell on the road when the wire got stuck on the moving tipper trolley. Although the tipper driver escaped when the wire got stuck on the trolley, electricity was cut off in half a dozen villages of the rural municipality, said Vidyanand Chaudhary, chairman of the rural municipality. According to him, electricity has been disrupted in Sakhra, Govindpur, Lalapatti, Hati, Lokharam, Kochabkhari, Khudibakhari. Chairman Choudhary said that coordination is being done with the Electricity Authority, Raj Viraj to repair the pole. It has been reported that the road to Chinnamasta temple through Neur border has also been blocked due to the fall of the pole.
