Even though the rate of admission of new patients and the rate of going home after treatment are the same, it is becoming a concern when the trend of new patients does not stop. To prevent the spread of the disaster, the office of the Birganj Metropolitan Municipality has closed all the educational institutions here for a week.
Even after the long efforts of governmental and non-governmental organizations, the real source of cholera in Birgunj has not been ascertained yet. As initially expected, the results of various laboratories did not find cholera bacteria in the drinking water institute and deep boring water in Birganj metropolis. Common people are also suspicious of such confusion.
