Currently, 68 people are being treated in the general ward of different hospitals. 3 people are in HDU and 15 people are in ICU.
There are 31 people admitted to Pokhria Hospital till Sunday evening, 17 people have been confirmed to have cholera. Anand Rauniyar informed. 3 cholera patients have come here since Saturday for treatment. On Saturday, 6 people returned home after treatment.
The ministers of the federal government who come to get information on the ground in the area where the infection is spreading are also claiming that the outbreak will decrease after visiting the patients. To prevent the spread of the disaster, the office of the Birganj Metropolitan Municipality has closed all the educational institutions here for a week.
The metropolis has paid attention to the purity and cleanliness of drinking water. But still the main source of spreading cholera bacteria has not been ascertained.
