The meeting of the Madhesh State Assembly has been postponed until further notice. On Friday, the second meeting of the sixth session was also postponed after the opposition party protested in the Madhesh Provincial Assembly.
As soon as today's meeting started, the opposition party stood up and protested. CPN (Maoist Centre) MP Jawaharlal Kushwaha alleged that the budget is unequal and middlemen dominate. He says that there is opacity and widespread irregularities in the budget.
'It seems that financial discipline has been violated in the process of bringing the budget,' he said. We will continue blocking the House until the resignation comes.
Nepali Congress MP Kumarkant Jha defended the government and the finance minister. He alleged that the opposition did not try to find a solution from the table. He requested to discuss it in the all-party meeting.
"The quarrel ends, but the friction never ends," he said, "The opposition is now doing the friction." If you don't come with positive thinking, there can be no solution.
The government passed the budget in the absence of the opposition. The government presented a red book of only 461 pages in the state assembly. But later, the working group found that there was a red book of 755 pages. For that reason, the opposition party was demanding to recognize only 461 pages and cancel the plan for the rest of the pages.
