The armed police have seized 30 sacks of illegal tobacco from Ishanath Municipality-4 Mathia in Rautahat. Illegal tobacco has been seized from the Bhatti shop of Ramsingh Chanau in Mathia.
On Sunday night, a team under the command of Assistant Police Inspector Khemraj Joshi seized 30 bags of tobacco and tobacco products from Ganapati SP Santosh Kumar Basnet and BOP Auraiya of Armed Police Force Nepal No. 11 Gan Headquarters.
SP Basnet said that illegal tobacco was seized and handed over to Gaur Customs Office for action. According to the Armed Police, an investigation is being conducted into the tobacco that was brought in by evading customs.
