On Wednesday, a young man was stabbed near Bansghari in Gaur Municipality-8 of Rautahat. The young man died of stab wounds. The police have arrested the stabber.

According to the police, 20-year-old Sanoj Ram, a resident of Bhantaghar in Gaur Municipality-3, stabbed 17-year-old Mohammad Sahabuddin in Jhunkhunuwa, Yamunamai Village-5.

Sahabuddin's abdomen, head, chest and legs were severely injured by the stabbing. When the police reached the spot, he was immediately taken to the Provincial Hospital Gaur for treatment. Police inspector Rudra Kadel said that he died at the hospital.

Immediately after the incident, the police arrested the stabbing Ram. The police recovered a knife and drug marijuana (including a water gun) from the scene.

Before the stabbing, there was an argument between them. The police said that they are investigating what caused the dispute.
