The main door of the old couple's house, who used to walk outside every morning, was not even opened until 8 o'clock. Suspecting that he might be ill, the locals went to the door and called him several times. However, none of the couple responded.
Locals were getting more suspicious. More than a dozen market people had gathered in front of the house.
Because the couple is helpful and gets along with everyone, they were getting very worried by many doubts. Instead of waiting outside, they decided to cross the wall to the west and let one person inside and understand the situation of both people .

The incident on 14th of February 2075, Khadak Municipality-5 of Saptari, Khakhuhia Bazar residents were shocked. After the incident which took place at a house along the East-West highway, teams from the Kalyanpur and Kadarbona area police offices and the district police office reached the spot.
The police team led by the then SP Rajendra Bista confirmed that the elderly couple had been burnt to death from the initial investigation and proceeded with further investigation . The special investigation team of Janakpur Provincial Police Office, the forensic team of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan and trained dogs were also assisted in the investigation, which was started on suspicion of murder by people who came with the intention of committing robbery.
Since the body of the elderly couple was completely burned, a joint investigation team of 30 people stayed at the scene for a few weeks and conducted DNA tests to find the killer.
At the same time, I was transferred to SP Bista on June 7, 2076 . He was replaced by Manoj Yadav on May 17. Less than three months later, he was transferred on August 17. The incident also went on. Krishna Prasai, who came on August 18, stayed for one year and was transferred on August 7, 2017. However, the cause of the incident was not revealed.
Even after him, five SPs changed in Saptari. However, even for 7 years, the police have not been able to find the killer and the victim's family has not been able to get justice as the incident remains a mystery.
DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, the spokesperson of District Police Office Saptari, said that he can respond after understanding more with the area police office, Kadarbona, which is investigating the incident. However, he has not been able to be clear about the progress of the incident even for two days. "The progress of the investigation is not much, but I have told the locality to look at the file and update it," he said.
