A young man has been detained with nearly 36,000 Saudi Riyals from the Rajviraj Airport in Saptari.

33-year-old Md. from Khadak municipality-11 Lanka toll who was going to Kathmandu from Rajviraj on Sunday afternoon. Khurshid Alam was arrested.

During the check at the airport, 35 thousand 976 Saudi Riyals were seized from Alam's side and the source was seized, said DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, the spokesperson of the district police office.

"He may have earned riyals himself but he cannot bring the amount that should come through the bank," he said.
