50-year-old Gobind Choudhary of Kanchanrup Municipality-7 of Saptari, who left home on Saturday morning after having tea, was found dead in Chandra Nahar in the afternoon.

He was found drowned in a canal located in the same Municipality-8 Chandni Chowk. When the locals saw him, they informed the police. The body was brought to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj for post-mortem after police arrived from the area police office Kanchanpur.

Inspector Lekh Bahadur Bista of the Kanchanpur area police office informed about the incident. "The cause of death is not yet clear, but it has been reported that he has some mental problems," he said.
