The Madhesh state government has submitted a memorandum with ten-point demands to the Defense Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, in order to make the 'Ghumaun Madhesh, Buzhaun Madhesh' policy meaningful. On Thursday, the coordinator of 'Ghumaun Madhesh, Buzhaun Madhesh', Vikas Kumar Thakur reached Delhi, India and submitted a memorandum to Minister Singh.

A memorandum has been submitted to Minister Singh with demands such as building a corridor for religious tourists between Janakpur and Ayodhya, starting bus/rail services to reach religious places in Madhesh province from India and starting direct air service from Ayodhya to Janakpurdham.

In order to promote tourism, the government of Nepal and India should coordinate and give Janakpurdham a special place in the Ramayana circuit, mentioning that 'Ram is incomplete without Sita', Janakpurdham should be promoted in India as well, the religious places of Madhesh should be promoted by placing a digital board in Ayodhya/Varanasi, and the main tourist spots of Madhesh should be supported in internationalization.

In India's tourism policy, it has been demanded through a memorandum to keep the major religious places of Madhesh as border tourism. Coordinator Thakur said that a memorandum has been submitted to draw the attention of the Indian government for the purpose of conducting a joint campaign for the promotion of religious places in Madhesh and India.

The names of the major religious places of Madhesh province are also mentioned in the memorandum. It is also believed that it will help in promoting tourism in both countries.
