A joint monitoring team deployed under the direction of the Chief District Officer has seized government-subsidized chemical fertilizers during raids at various locations.
On the instructions of the Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryalaya, the monitoring team including the representatives of the concerned offices raided two houses of Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality-2 Kateya village and seized 191 sacks of government subsidy fertilizer during the monitoring on Wednesday.
team raided the house of Shah Mohammad Ansari and Yunus Ansari. 141 bags of fertilizers including 9 bags of DAP, 18 bags of potash and 114 bags of phosphate have been recovered from Shah Mohammad's house. 50 bags of fertilizer including 27 bags of DAP and 23 bags of potash were found from Yunus' house. Earlier, Prazia Aryal called the directors of agricultural cooperatives, deputy heads of local level and heads of agriculture branches to prevent irregularities in fertilizer distribution throughout the district and gave instructions for transparent distribution.
