A drowned child was found dead in the Balan river on the border of Siraha and Saptari.
14-year-old Ghanshyam Yadav, son of Shivkumar Yadav of Periyarpur, Sakhuwanankarakatti rural municipality-3 of Siraha, was found dead.
He drowned and disappeared while taking a bath on Monday morning near the Balan river bridge under the Hulaki highway.
After that, Nepal Police, Armed Police and local residents searched but they were not found.
However, the diving team from Bardibas found the child dead while drowning in the river about 50 meters south of the bridge at around 11:30 on Tuesday morning.
DSP Kailash Rai, the head of Lahan police office of Ela, said that necessary investigation is being done on this matter.
