Two children brothers died on Tuesday morning while bathing in Dhendu River in Thori Rural Municipality-2.
Among the deceased are Manoj Kathayat's 8-year-old son Ansh Kathayat and Ayansh Kathayat's 4-year-old son. While bathing in the river, the children suddenly drowned and floated on the water. As soon as the locals saw them, they rescued them and checked them at the thori health post. The children had already died.
The police team under the command of Prasani Munna Sah from the local police office Thori and the police team under the command of Prani Shailendra Khadka from the district police office Parsa have taken the body to Narayani Hospital for post-mortem. DSP Kishore Lamsal, spokesperson of Parsa Police, informed that the
incident is being further investigated.
