Two employees of Siraha-based Land and Land Reform Office and Land Problem Solution Commission have been jailed for fraud and forgery.

Siraha District Court on Sunday sent Rajkumar Rai of Malpot and Santhosh Kumar Yadav of the commission to prison for pretrial detention.

Rai is the office assistant of Malpot while Yadav is the computer operator of the commission. After receiving the investigation report of the District Police Office, Sirha, the District Public Prosecutor's Office, Sirha filed a case against them in the court last Friday.

in which the bench of judge Gopal Prasad Thapa ordered to send them to prison for pre-trial detention after the custody debate on Sunday, according to the court.

Similarly, in this case, President of Land Commission Siraha Ramadhin Yadav, Shivdayal Kamati of Bishnupur Rural Municipality 1, Ramdayal Kamati and Shivkumar Rai and Nagina Rai Kurmi of Siraha Municipality 7 are absconding. According to the district police office, Siraha, they are being searched for.

Rajdev Yadav of Narha Rural Municipality-3, Gautam Kumar Karki of Sirha Municipality 12 and Motilal Shrestha of Golbazar Municipality 7 filed separate complaints against them for fraud, written offenses and organized crime. 

However, the district attorney's office did not prosecute the case in the court of organized crime. District Attorney Rajendra Bahadur Basnet said that further investigation is needed in organized crime and claimed that prosecution was not done at this time.

``Organized crime needs to be investigated further, more evidence needs to be collected,'' he said, ``We have stopped it now so that it can be done gradually.''
