On Monday morning, 17-year-old Dhanshyam Yadav of Sakhuwanankarakatti rural municipality-3 Periyarpur of Siraha drowned while bathing in the river and disappeared, said DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, spokesperson of the district police office. They have been searching for him since morning, but they have not been found.
The search operation is being conducted under the leadership of Inspector Dinesh Bamjan of the Armed Police, who has received training in disaster management from Siraha, and 15 more policemen have been assigned to the search under the leadership of DSP Nandaraj Rai of the Armed Police.
