A girl has drowned in the Manusmara river at Balra in Sarlahi.

16-year-old Rangilakumari Baitha of Balra Municipality-6 Mirzapur drowned in Manusmara river. According to the police, she had gone to cut grass on Saturday. While returning home with grass, she fell down when crossing the old Manusmara river. According to the district police office, preliminary investigation revealed that his head got stuck in watercourse and drowned while fighting. 

After the incident, the body has been brought to the Provincial Hospital Malangwa for post-mortem.
