The 'Great Women's Conference 2082' will be organized on August 14 in Birgunj under the auspices of the Birganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The association held a press conference on Friday and released information about the conference.
Hari Prasad Gautam, President of the Association, said that the conference was organized with the aim of bringing out the hidden female talents in Bara-Parsa. Gautam said that the chief guest of the conference will be the former president of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari, where a workshop on 'Women: Power, dedication and respect' will be held. In the
press conference, Dr. Lakshmi Thapa, the coordinator of Women's Entrepreneurship Development Committee under the association, said that the aim of the conference is to highlight the social identity of women and the hidden talents of women who are involved in various fields such as industry, business, education, health, and social services in Parsa-Bara district.
Dr. Thapa said that the aim of the conference is to highlight the role of women in nation building by encouraging women towards entrepreneurship, social service and national service by discussing about the development of leadership capacity of women entrepreneurs in the region, promotion of industry, trade and the role that women should play to establish their identity in society.
Anup Aggarwal, joint secretary of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry and co-coordinator of the conference, said that the conference will be held in seven stages. He said that women keynote speakers will also come to the conference. Apart from this, panel discussions and motivational workshops will also be conducted, he said. Aggarwal said that the best 30 to 40 women in their respective categories will also be honored at the conference.
