A brother died of an ax hit by his brother in Padaria, Rajviraj municipality-1 of Saptari on Friday. During a domestic dispute in the morning, 30-year-old brother Narendra Jha attacked his 40-year-old brother Lokendra Jha with an axe.
Lokendra, who was seriously injured by an ax attack, was admitted to Chinmasta Hospital Rajviraj for treatment. As his treatment was not possible there, he was taken to Nobel Hospital Biratnagar. DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, the spokesperson of the District Police Office informed that Lokendra died at 3:30 pm during the treatment.
The cause of the dispute between the brothers is not clear. It is said that Narendra, who is absconding after the incident, is being searched.
