The police have arrested two people on the charge of forcing the woman hostage. Those arrested are 40-year-old Nek Muhammad, who lives in Parsa Bahudarmai Municipality-2 Sisiyari and currently resides in Birgunj Metropolitan Municipality-13 Radhemai, where he runs the Nek Motorcycle Workshop, and 21-year-old Aftab Ansari of Rautahat, who works in the same workshop.

On 23rd May 2082, they are accused of forcing a woman from Birganj bus park area by taking her to a lodge near Samai on the way while returning home from the shed. 

They were arrested from Birgunj Metropolitan City-15 Pratima Chowk when the police searched on the basis of a complaint that they absconded after the incident. DSP Kishore Lamsal informed that they are being investigated by the Parsa District Court for a period of five days for kidnapping, body hostage and extortion.
