SP Santosh Kumar Basnet of Armed Police Force Rautahat informed that the body of 30-year-old Rohit Kumar Singh of village Pachhoura-2, Khagadia, Bihar state, India, was found. While going to bathe in the Bagmati river under the suspension bridge in Noonthar, Singh suddenly disappeared.
The police said that the body of the deceased was mistakenly taken by Shatruhan Kumar's brother. Armed Police SP Basnet said that 45-year-old Ramvir Mahato of India's Sitamarhi Bhuti who tried to jump from the Bagmati River at Nunthar on July 10 was rescued alive.
On Saturday evening, the dead body of 25 Ruma Devi, wife of Saroj Sah of Chandrapur-9 Chetnagar Virta was found in East-West Bagmati Canal in Vrindavan Municipality-1 Ramnagar, the police said. The dead body was found drowned in the canal.
