The rain after a long time has made the farmers of the southern region of Sarlahi happy. After the rain on Saturday and Sunday, the farmers here are busy planting paddy.
Earlier, most of the farmers' fields were barren as there was no rain till the second week of July. According to Krishi Gyan Kendra Malangwa, there are 40,000 hectares of rice fields, but only 66 percent of the fields have been planted so far. It has rained in almost all the districts of Madhesh on Saturday and Sunday.
