Parsa Police has arrested a man accused of murdering his wife.
The arrested person is 32-year-old Jeetendra Majhi of Jirabhavani rural municipality-5 Shankarsaraiya. It is alleged that he got drunk and killed his 24-year-old wife Aspatalia Devi Musahar on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm due to a domestic dispute and hit her on the neck with her hand, punch and stick.
After receiving the information about the incident, the temporary police post Shankarsaraiya immediately informed the nearby police units to flee in all directions, coordination in the border areas where the escape was possible, a police team was dispatched to the scene under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Vikau Sah from the temporary police post Shankarsaraiya and surrounded and detained Majhi.
