An agreement has been signed between Madhesh Agricultural University (MAU) and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU) of India for the development of agricultural education, research, technology transfer and educational cooperation.
Madhesh Agricultural University established on the initiative of Madhesh State Government on 27th December 2078 and recognized as a central university by Indian Government in 2016. An agreement was signed between Rajendra Prasad Central University on Monday. According to the
agreement, the level of higher education related to agriculture will be enhanced, experience will be exchanged with students and researchers from both countries, technology protection and commercialization will be mutually agreed upon, and intellectual property rights will be protected. Similarly, the agreement mentions the use of modern technology and participating in meetings of enlightened groups for the development and promotion of the agricultural sector, collaborating in the development of modern education systems, conducting meetings, seminars and workshops as needed.
