The police have arrested a young man from Parsa with drugs.

On Saturday evening at around 6:30 p.m., 22-year-old Dilip Kumar Sahni of Pakahamainpur Rural Municipality-2, Madhubani, who was suspiciously coming on foot from Bhediarwa village towards Dhore, was carrying potatoes and onions in a blue bag. 

Buprenophine, Nufine, Diazepam and Promethazine Hydrochloride injection at the rate of 150 and 450 ampoules have been recovered from him. 

Sahni was brought to the area police office Pokhria Parsa and is being investigated by the Parsa district court for 7 days for drug-related offences, said DSP Kishore Lamsal, spokesperson of the Parsa police.
