Students have locked down Madhesh Agricultural University on Sunday saying that there are no study-friendly classrooms. They locked the main door of the educational building.

Abhishek Kumar Yadav, who is studying in BAC AG, fifth level, said that classes are being held in rooms covered with zinc even in the growing heat. "One is the intense heat, on top of that the classroom is covered with zinc," he said. They said that they were forced to lock the school even when they informed them in writing about the fact that they were charging more fees, not giving cash receipts for the fees paid, and that the experimental classes were not held regularly.

University registrar Dr. Shri Bhagwan Thakur said that coordination is being done with the students to open the lockdown.
