Due to the extreme heat, skin diseases have also spread in the Balsudhar Home in Birganj. Itching, Luto infection is now spreading among children and adolescents who are dependent on the home. Anju Kumari, the staff nurse of the home, says that the disease has been spreading for about a month.

"Skin disease has spread rapidly among children and teenagers who are cramped in small houses," she said, "One thing is the intense heat and there is a situation where 10 to 15 people have to stay cramped in one room." She said that due to the heat, one or two dependent children in the home are fainting every day. "Every day one/two people faint like this," she said. There are only 9 rooms in the house spread over an area of about 2 katha. According to the size of the room, there is an obligation to keep 10 to 15 dependents in three. There are currently 128 dependent children and teenagers in the home. This number is about three times more than the capacity .

The cooking mess in the cramped home complex is barely operational. Due to the lack of playgrounds, dependent children and teenagers have to spend the whole day gossiping at home. The home office and the police unit are also operating in the narrow home complex.
