Due to not being able to water for a long time, the heat has increased excessively in Terai-Madhesh. The hot summer has made life difficult here.

Due to the heat, common people have not been able to leave their homes in the afternoon . Farmers, laborers and students are the most affected by the unbearable heat. Chowk market has started to become deserted by the summer.

In Madhesh, the temperature is around 37 degrees Celsius. According to local Rajinikanth Jha, workers, farmers and students have been affected the most by the heat. "It has been a long time since it rained, which has crossed the limit of summer, when there is no wind and the body is wet with sweat," he said.

After the heat rises, the pressure of service recipients is low even in the government offices . Except for essential work, people have stopped going out of the house.

Ramanandan Mandal of Kavilasi Municipality-1 Piparia said that due to the hot sun and heat, the farmlands are unsustainable. "If you don't work, you won't get money, the sun and heat of Tantlapur have made you sick, but you are worried about a hungry stomach," he said, "even if the heat is suffocating, work has to be done."

After the summer, the number of patients in private and government hospitals has increased . According to Malangwa Provincial Hospital, the number of patients coming to the hospital due to infections such as headache, diarrhoea, cold and fever is increasing. Doctors are requesting to increase the amount of water in summer.
