A couple was electrocuted today while charging a city rickshaw in Rupani rural municipality-2 Pauwan of Saptari.
Local 45-year-old Baleshwar Khang Mandal and his wife 42-year-old District Police Office Police Inspector Udayakumar Rai informed that Ramkumari Khang died due to electrocution while charging an electric city rickshaw.
According to police inspector Rai, the incident happened in his own house. The wife was also electrocuted when she went to rescue her husband after being electrocuted. According to the police, both died on the spot.
