In Garuda, Rautahat, the police seized a large quantity of narcotic marijuana from a private car on Tuesday. After trying to stop the car carrying marijuana, the car crashed and overturned during the chase. After that, the driver escaped.
District Police DSP Rajan Karki informed that 133 kilos of ganja in 13 pouches were seized from a red colored Brezza car number G3CH 6796 near Jhajh river in Garuda Municipality-5.
The car that was going from Chandranigahpur to Gaur ran away when the local police tried to stop it in front of Garuda. After getting suspicious, while following the vehicle, the police said that the driver left the vehicle in a ravine 20 feet deep below the road near Jhajh river and fled away.
Prahi has pulled the car out of the bush with the help of a crane. The police said they have started an investigation to find out about the vehicle owner.
