A person was arrested who was selling drugs from a stall in the main market located in Rajviraj Municipality-7 of Saptari. Narayan Bahadur Karki, a 53-year-old local, was arrested.

Karki, who was living in a zinc-covered terrace under the stairs built for the audience on the east side of the Raj Rangshala, was arrested by the police on the basis of a tip-off that he was selling drugs from there. 

Spasm Prosivon Plus 382 capsules, Nitrazepam IP 149 and Nitravet 154 capsules were recovered from the bag kept on the terrace, informed DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, Information Officer of the District Police Office.

According to him, 311 grams of marijuana made from 79 pods were also recovered from the terrace. 2 lakh 50 thousand 510 Nepali rupees and 6 thousand 330 Indian rupees in cash were also recovered from under the bed of Tahara. The police said that Karki, who was arrested, is being investigated in the drug case with an extension of time.
