A motorcyclist died in a collision with a pick-up van on Chandranigahpur-Gaur section of Rautahat on Thursday night. One is injured. The driver of the van, who escaped after the incident, has not been found till Saturday afternoon.
District Police DSP Rajan Karki informed that 40-year-old Dinanath Sah of Madhavnarayan Municipality-2, a motorcyclist, was killed when he was hit by a pick-up van No. Sah died during treatment at Better Nepal Hospital. The deceased was riding a motorcycle number BR30U 4414 from Sah Garuda towards Chandranigahpur.
Garuda-8's Shambhu Sah, who is behind the motorcycle, is injured. He is being treated at Anamika Hospital in Garuda with injuries to his right leg and left hand. DSP Karki said that the driver of the van is being searched for.
