A teacher of Rautahat Garuda who was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a girl student has been dismissed by the school. He is now in police custody after the police filed a case of indecent behavior against the teacher.

Rabindra Prasad Sah, a teacher of Shri Madhyamik School located in Garuda Municipality-9 Sripur, was dismissed by the school on Thursday. Rajkumar Das, the Acting Chairman of the School Management Committee informed that after the case of sending inappropriate messages to the female students came to light, a joint meeting of the School Management Committee, Ward Committee, parents, representatives of political parties and social workers dismissed the teacher Sah .

``Teacher Sah repeatedly misbehaved with female students and suffered social punishment, but it seemed that the morale increased because of the lack of legal action,'' he said. That's what we did.'

After the parents got information that the 16-year-old girl studying in the school had sent a message saying 'Happy Birthday Mary Jan' last Sunday, the angry students and locals beat Sah and vandalized the school premises . The police fired a round of tear gas to bring the situation under control. After that, the Garuda police took Sah into custody. After the

incident, the parents have filed a complaint with the local police Garuda . DSP Rajan Karki informed that after registering a case of indecent behavior against Sah, investigation has been started with a deadline of seven days. "If the investigation reveals more, we will proceed with the case accordingly," he said.
