The Taxpayer Service Office has come into operation as an Internal Revenue Office with additional services in Bardibas.
The office which has been providing tax payer services to Bardibas, Gaushala, Mithila Municipality area of Dhanusha, Mahottari has started its service as an Internal Revenue Office from Thursday. The office which was only collecting tax while being a Tax Payer Service Office has become an Internal Revenue Office and will provide services such as tax examination, inspection and investigative work in the service sector, Gehendra Prakash Giri informed. He said that earlier, the municipalities of two districts were receiving services, but now Sarlahi and Sindhuli have been added to the scope of the office.
The presidents of Hariwan, Lalbandi, Malangwa, Sindhuli, Mithila of Dhanusha and Bardibas, Gaushala of Mahottari said that the establishment of Internal Revenue Office will bring ease and benefit to businessmen. Bishnu Bahadur Khadka, President of Bardibas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the initiatives taken to provide ease of service to the businessmen and stakeholders of Pyak, including Bardiwas, urged them to speed up the services provided by the office in the future.
The office operating in a rented house in the main market area of Bardibas is currently constructing a building with state-of-the-art services on its own land located at Bardibas 14. Internal Revenue Office Janakpurdham Chief Tax Officer Anand Kumar Gupta inaugurated the Internal Revenue Office with additional services and the office started operating from Bihi Bar.
