Santosh Jha, head of Division Forest Office, Sarlahi, was honored by the Madhes state government on Thursday. The government honored Forest Officer Jha for his remarkable work in forest protection and encroachment control.
Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh honored Jha on behalf of the state government by presenting a certificate of appreciation in a special ceremony.
Jha's long-term contribution to the Sagarnath Forest Development Project and Sarlahi District's forest area management has been honored, according to the Chief Minister's Office. The case in the court made the then mayor Bharat Thapa and others who encroached the land of the project in Bagmati and built a man-made lake. After filing, his work is being appreciated.
