The current session of the Madhesh State Assembly has ended. State chief Sumitra Subedi Bhandari has ended the session with effect from 12 midnight on Wednesday.

On the recommendation of the Madhesh Government Cabinet meeting, the current fifth session of the Provincial Assembly has ended according to Article 183 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

The fifth session of the Madhes Pradesh Assembly started on June 21. In this session, a total of 22 meetings were held and the provincial government's policy and program and budget were presented and passed.
