A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorcycle on Wednesday afternoon near Pidar Chowk, Kabilasi Municipality-10 under Navalpur-Malangwa road. The name of the deceased has not yet been revealed.

He was seriously injured when a motorcycle bearing number 2-03-014 P 1214, which was going from Kabilasi to Malangwa, hit a pedestrian.

He was immediately taken to the Provincial Hospital Malangwa for treatment. But the doctor declared him dead. Police said that the name, surname and address of the deceased, who appears to be around 50 years old, are yet to be revealed.

In the accident, motorcycle driver Rupesh Rai, 22 years old from Kabilasi Municipality-8, and his wife Pinki Devi Rai, 20 years old, who was riding behind, sustained minor injuries.

Both people are being treated at Malangwa Hospital under the supervision of the police, while the motorcycle is under the control of the police. According to the District Police Office, the identity of the deceased and the accident are being investigated.
