Locals have protested after the poor quality of the RCC slope being constructed in the Madar Bazar area under the Sirha-Madar road. Locals protested by burning tires on the road saying that poor quality work is being done with the connivance of government agencies.

Bhagat Group of Construction has got the contract for drainage, mud, gravel and 60 meters RCC slope from Siraha headquarters to Madar. According to the contract, this project worth Rs 6 crore 58 lakh 53 thousand 810 should be completed by June 30.

However, only about thirty percent of the work has been done so far. Umesh Prasad Yadav, Ward President of Sirha Municipality 17, alleges that the contractor, who had always delayed the work earlier, is now doing poor work in a hurry to get payment.

Siraha-Madar road: Poor quality work in rush to collect payment, protests by locals He said that while constructing the RCC road, the ratio of cement, sand and gravel was not adjusted by the contractor. Due to this, local Ramkumar Yadav says that even if the constructed road is uprooted with a stick, it gets stuck.

However, Dipendra Bhagat, the head of the construction company, said that although it looks bad now, there is still a lot of work to be done on it and the road will be improved by giving the necessary chemicals. Ashutosh Karna, Head of Road Division Lahan, responded that he understands the matter.
