A 14-year-old boy died of electrocution in Rautahat's Moulapur on Tuesday. The child was electrocuted while drawing water with an electric motor for planting in the field.
According to DSP Deepak Kumar Roy of District Police Office Gaur, Narendra Raut, 14 years old son of Sudhan Raut of Moulapur-8 Sonarnia, was suddenly electrocuted while irrigating the field with an electric motor. "Narendra was seriously injured when he was suddenly electrocuted while driving an electric motor for drawing water," he said. The child died during treatment.' DSP Rai said that the
incident is being investigated. Due to the increase in the number of deaths due to electrocution in various places in the district, the district police has requested to exercise vigilance.
