Today's meeting of the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly has been boycotted by the MPs of the opposition party.

They boycotted the meeting accusing the government of coming up with a plan by deceiving the provincial assembly. But the provincial assembly meeting is being conducted. The government has also prepared to pass the budget today.

Saroj Kumar Yadav, leader of the main opposition party Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Parliamentary Party, complained that the Speaker was not fair. He demanded the resignation of the Speaker. He said that in democratic practice, it is wrong to conduct the meeting and pass the budget in the absence of the opposition.

MPs from JSP, CPN United Socialist Party, CPN Maoist, Nepal Federal Socialist Party, RPP and Civil Liberties have boycotted today's meeting.
