The armed police on Friday seized smuggled clothes worth Rs 947,000.

Armed Police Force Nepal proposed Border Security Gulm Birgunj and Birgunj Customs Office jointly deployed the team has seized the clothes illegally brought and stored from India from BKC Impex located on Town Hall Road located in Birgunj Municipal Corporation-10.

Clothes worth 6,59,700 have been recovered from the warehouse after defrauding customs.

Armed Police on Friday seized clothes and groceries worth Rs 279,150 from Adarshnagar and Chhapkaiya illegally bringing them to Nepal from India and handed them over to the Birgunj Customs Office, DSP Devendra Bahadur Singh informed.
